Consultation Service teams work with some local school Districts’ assessment teams by providing evaluations to assess the unique needs & abilities of students who are suspected of having a disability.
Audiological Services include screening,assessment of hearing, habilitation andrehabilitation of children with impairment of auditory function.
Speech-Language Pathologist serve students with disorders of language, articulation, fluency or voice disorders which interfere with communication, academic learning, vocational training and social adjustment.
Orthopedic Program provides training & support to allow students with orthopedic impairments or or sensory motor impairments to benefit from their educational environment & become as independent as possible in school, home and community.
Regional Autism Program provides the following services to students, birth to age 21: assessment, consultation, and a training component for district personnel and families.
Regional Hearing provides services to students, birth to age 21 who have deafness or hearing impairment, which emphasize development of skills in communication & language arts. Instruction in basic concepts & organizational skills & assistance with transition to post-school environments
Regional Vision provides services to students, birth to age 21 who have blindness or visual impairment, which focuses on compensatory skills & how to use their residual vision functionally across all develop- mental & academic areas. Orientation & mobility training is also provided.

Child must be 3-4 years old by Sept 1 of the year applying. Head Start has 10 locations in Coos and Curry County. Hispanic interpreter on site.
